No gig in Madrid tonite

No, Pluxus is unfortunatley not playing in Madrid tonite as stated in our tour dates — it’s a little social hack by someone dj:ing Pluxus songs (we think). But as we are fans of tweaking social tools, Madrid and some of the other artists mentioned, we encourage everyone in Madrid to go clubbing at Laydown tonite.

Pluxus in Stockholm for the first time in 14 months!

Pluxus is performing live — for the first time in Stockholm since October 2008 — at Lilla Ukraina on Valla Torg, deep down suburban Årsta, on Saturday December 5. Pre registration required at www.lillaukraina.org. See you there!

Pluxus in Russia

Hello Russia — on Wednesday Pluxus plays in Moscow for the first time in 7 years, at 16 Tons, and on Friday for the first time ever in St. Petersburg, at Танцы. Do come by if in the area!

Sebastian from Pluxus made the sound design for the film ‘Women Without Men’ by Shirin Neshat that won the sliver lion for best director this evening! THUMBS UP!!! /P

Former Pluxemburg artist Fibes, Oh Fibes! has a new single out.

It is called ‘Love Child’ and we really think you should check it out on Spotify. It is really really good. We wish Fibes, Oh Fibes! the best of luck with their new album, due to be out some time after the summer.

Pluxus in Istanbul and Riga

Pluxus is today off to Istanbul for a show tomorrow at the Bant sunar City Star Nights, and then on to Riga to play the Space:Garage (we think?) on Friday. If around, do come by!

New Andreas Tilliander single on Adrian Records

We recommend everyone to head over to Spotify and listen to the new Andreas Tilliander single “Caught in a Riot”, released by Adrian Recordings. Pluxemburg is not releasing the follow-up to Andreas’ amazing 2004 pop techno album World Industries, but we do love his new work and hope for world domination this time too. Good luck Andreas & Adrian!

Big website update!

We’ve spent quite some time lately working on a new version of pluxemburg.com, which—as of just now—finally is online! The site might not differ too much from the old one at first sight, but there are plenty of new things going on. For example, the newsfeed is now mirrored from Tumblr and not Pownce as it was in the past. You can listen to music straight from the site, through our friends at SoundCloud. We put the entire “Transient EP” by Pluxus from last year up for listening, as well as four unreleased remixes of the track Kinoton (by Akamu, Dibaba, Tulip and Unai). The rest of the site has been optimized to work better; the “More on Pluxemburg” section now automaticly mirrors the Pluxemburg keyword at Delicious, the “About Pluxemburg” section is mirrored from Wikipedia and so on. Pluxus live in Minsk

Pluxus is going to perform—twice!—for the first time this year this coming weekend in Minsk, Belarus. First out is late on Saturday the 24th (actually early Sunday) with a live-PA-set around 02.00, and then on Sunday evening (the 25th) at the bandscan:belarus event, both at the same venue—Fabrique. If you are in the area, don’t miss out.
